Valuenetics is provided by Unterbrink Valuation Service, LLC, dba Valuenetics ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Valuenetics web app and iPad app collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Who uses Valuenetics
Valuenetics is a professional tool for licensed real estate appraisers. Accounts are set up for appraisers and their firms; the app is not intended for children.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and login details.
- Appraisal work you enter: property details, inspection notes, sketches, measurements, comparable sales and report content.
- Photos you take or choose in the app for an inspection.
- Voice notes: if you use voice capture, your speech is converted to text. This may be processed on your device or by Apple's speech recognition service, depending on your device.
- Basic technical information needed to run the service, such as error logs.
How we use it
We use this information only to provide the service: to store and sync your work, produce your appraisal reports, and support you. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.
Service providers we share with
To provide features, some information is sent to:
- OpenAI and xAI, for COMPASS, the app's AI assistant features.
- Google, for maps and property imagery.
- CoreLogic and ATTOM, for public property records.
- Microsoft Azure, which hosts our servers in the United States.
These providers process information only to deliver their part of the service.
Where data is stored and how it's protected
Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure servers in the United States and is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active, and as long as needed to meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations. To delete your account and data, email gary@valuenetics.com from your account's email address and we will handle the request.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its effective date.
